I purchased this bread from this store and discovered it was covered in mold. This was not a small spot or something that developed overnight after purchase the loaf had mold throughout multiple areas, making it obvious that it should never have been offered for sale in the first place. Selling moldy food is a serious health and safety issue. Customers trust supermarkets to properly inspect their products and remove spoiled items from the shelves. The fact that this bread made it to the checkout and into a customerβs home shows a complete failure of quality control. I have attached photos as proof of the condition of the product at the time it was opened. This experience has completely destroyed my confidence in this storeβs food safety standards. Management needs to take immediate action, inspect their inventory more carefully, and ensure that expired or contaminated products are not being sold to the public. No customer should ever have to worry about bringing home moldy food from a grocery store. Very disappointed, and I will think twice before shopping here again. πππ

Doesnβt accept return even when item is spoiled. Purchased Guacamole which was not expired but as soon as I opened the seal, it smelled bad. I immediately took it to store. They told they canβt accept return on opened items and it is only exchange. Even the exchanged item was spoiled inside. The best until date is not correct.

Unfortunately, there is a lack of care regarding perishable foodsβparticularly those of foreign origin. It is extremely common to encounter various types of food with expired expiration dates. There is no quality control, and a certain indifference is displayed when the matter is brought to the attention of the staff.

Citi Grocer cannot be beat! They've got it all! They've got products from countries I've never even heard of! It's unbelievable! Their meat section is top notch! The meat section is better than Shop Rite! They don't let stuff sit out, or it moves quick because everything looks fresh. Citi Grocer is the real deal!
